Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter and musician born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He began writing songs at age eleven, developing a style that blends pop, folk, and hip-hop influences. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project, which led to a recording contract with Asylum Records (part of Atlantic Records) later that year. His debut studio album + (2011) and subsequent releases established him as one of the most commercially successful pop acts of the 2010s, with chart-topping singles across multiple continents. While not Indonesian, Sheeran has performed in Indonesia several times, contributing to the region's engagement with contemporary Western pop music.
