Element

Element is a Jakarta-based pop rock group formed on February 14, 1999, emerging during the late-1990s wave of Indonesian bands that shaped the country's mainstream rock sound in the early 2000s. Their official 2000 debut placed them within an industry dominated by melodic rock acts competing for national radio airplay. The current lineup comprises Ferdy Tahier on vocals, Didi Riyadi on drums, Fajar Putra Jaya Maringka on keyboards, guitarists Arya Adhi Prasetyo and Irwan Aditya Pratama, and bassist Muhammad Gibran Aziz. Over more than two decades, the band has navigated several lineup changes while maintaining a consistent presence in Indonesia's pop rock landscape. Their longevity positions them among the enduring acts from the post-Reformasi era, when newly liberalized media markets enabled Indonesian bands to build sustained careers beyond single-hit fame.
