Happy Asmara

Happy Asmara (born Heppy Rismanda Hendranata) is a singer-songwriter, presenter, and entrepreneur from Kediri, East Java, who began her career in 2015. Rooted in Javanese music, she gained wider recognition through her self-produced single "Tak Ikhlasno," which achieved significant popularity across Java, particularly East Java. A recycled single, "Dalan Liyane," released the same year, further solidified her standing and marked a career turning point. Both tracks are considered the foundation of her broader cultural recognition in Indonesia. Operating independently, Happy Asmara is known for blending dangdut with traditional Javanese musical sensibilities, cultivating a strong fan base in East Java and beyond. Her work reflects the regional dangdut scene's continued vitality in the post-2010s era.
