Mahalini

Ni Luh Ketut Mahalini Ayu Raharja, known mononymously as Mahalini, is a pop singer-songwriter from Denpasar, Bali. Though she released her debut single "Bawa Dia Kembali" in 2015, she gained widespread recognition after finishing fifth on the tenth season of Indonesian Idol in 2020. Following the competition, Mahalini signed with HITS Records and released the solo single "Melawan Restu," which established her as one of Indonesia's most prominent emerging pop voices. The track earned her New Artist of the Year at the 2021 Indonesian Music Awards, cementing her place in the national music landscape. With her powerful vocals and personal songwriting, Mahalini represents a new generation of Indonesian pop singer-songwriters who leveraged televised competitions as career launchpads in the post-2010s era.
