SB19 is a Filipino boy band formed in 2018 by ShowBT Philippines, consisting of five members: Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. Dubbed the "Kings of P-pop," they are credited with bringing Philippine pop music to international audiences and are considered one of the most influential acts in the genre. Based in Manila, the group emerged during the late-2010s Southeast Asian pop renaissance, when regional music industries began asserting local identities within global pop frameworks. SB19's approach combines K-pop-inspired precision choreography and vocal production with distinctly Filipino cultural elements.
