SEVENTEEN is a thirteen-member South Korean boy band formed by PLEDIS Entertainment in 2015, consisting of S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. The group is recognized as a "self-producing" idol act, with members actively involved in songwriting, music production, and choreography across their releases. SEVENTEEN operates through three specialized units—Hip-Hop Unit, Vocal Unit, and Performance Unit—allowing them to explore diverse musical approaches within their albums. Since their debut, they have released multiple studio and mini albums that achieved significant commercial success both domestically and internationally, establishing themselves as one of the defining boy bands of K-Pop's third generation. Their hands-on creative process distinguishes them within an industry where idol groups typically rely heavily on external producers and choreographers.
